Unstable pH problems: pH that is too low (acid): irritation of the eyes, mucous membranes, corrosion problems, damage to the sides (tile grouting), creasing of the liner. pH that is too high (alkaline): irritation of the eyes, mucous membranes, free proliferation of algae, corrosion problems, precipitates of calcium deposits.
