Environment
Since its founding in 1994, Piscines Magiline has treated the environmental impact of the production of its swimming pools, and of their long-term use by their owners, as a design consideration.
The « éco énergie » prize awarded in Belgium in April 2008 perfectly reflects the spirit we have instilled in Magiline as regards ecological responsibility and sustainability.
Thanks to mastery of its production chain, Magiline has been able to place the environment at the heart of its research and development thrust. Today, it is Magiline's top investment item.x
Our structure
Our structure is made of 80% selected, sorted, and recycled materials. It is cellular (honeycomb), and so uses only as much concrete as is strictly necessary, but is also stronger and has better thermal insulation properties.
Our filtration
Our patented FX Line filtration system filters to 15 microns, whereas a sand filter filters only to 50 microns; our filtration system filters 3 times more finely.
With FX Line, the need for chemicals and other treatments is therefore reduced.
It operates in a closed circuit, so there is no discharge of water into the water table or into sewers; in this it is unlike a sand filter, which can require as much as 2m3 of water a week for washing. Your consumption of electricity is cut by a factor of from 3 to 5, because the pump produces a better result in less time. Magiline swimming pools also recover energy. This is because the filtration pump is water-cooled, and the recovered heat naturally returns to the water of your swimming pool. Being water-cooled, the pump is naturally quieter: acoustic comfort is another of our environmental concerns.
Our Heat Pumps: Elyse & Elysea
The Elyse heat pump, a patented system, the only dual-flow pump, protects the ozone layer thanks to its exclusive system incorporating an ecologically sound coolant, R410A. Economical because, for each kWh consumed, Elyse delivers 5 kWh of heat.
The Elysea heat pump also uses the ecologically sound R410A coolant and is economical, because for each kWh consumed, Elysea delivers 5 kWh of heat.
Our MAGIguard & SECURItech shutters
The MAGI'guard and SECURItech shutters, with their 100% recyclable PVC slats, rest perfectly on the surface of the water, helping to keep the water warm and limit evaporation.
For your safety and peace of mind, our shutters are perfectly compliant with the AFNOR standard in force, NF P90-308.
Our Lightis & Lucie lights
Lucie and Lightis, our two lighting systems, use economical, energy-saving light sources. The Lightis spotlight consumes 65 Watts and delivers lighting equivalent to that of a 100-Watt incandescent bulb.
Lucie, a lamp using energy-efficient LEDs, gives you a choice of 14 different ambiences in your swimming pool and consumes 15/10 times less than a conventional spotlight - 30W consumed for 300W delivered. Its life, more than 10 years, is 40 times that of a conventional bulb !
